My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Friendly, sweet snuggle bug, Itsy is a tiny chihuahua mix puppy. She is 12 weeks old and 2 lbs. Itsy is such a sweet girl. She is a friend to every foster dog and always is so well behaved. Very friendly and LOVES everyone. Her face is is beautiful and she has the adorable chi round head and the ears are beginning to stand up. Itsy is working on her potty skills in her foster home and she is ready for her real HOME. Her sister Pickle is also available for adoption.

If you are interested in giving Itsy a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the Notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 or Angela at 203-909-8861 with questions.

Itsy's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.

Itsy currently lives with a foster family just outside of Memphis,TN with sister. She will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. Transport to the northeast is every week. Transport to IL/WI/MN is twice a month.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
