Update 8/10: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Brandy has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations!

Update 7/27: Brandy tested negative for heartworms!

Update 7/19: No longer skittish, Brandy will meet you at her gate ready to come out and play. She still likes treats and being loved on, but, now, she also enjoys playing with toys. She found a duck toy lying on the bench, grabbed it, and started happily running about the interaction pen. When she finally dropped it, I threw the toy, and she ran with it some more. Brandy is a fun dog, and she’s still waiting for her forever home.

7/6: Brandy is a sweet girl with a beautiful brindle coat. She was a little skittish when I first met her, but it didn’t take too long before she was coming to me for pets and treats. Brandy loves treats, so that really helped. She also likes other dogs and seems to be submissive. After first entering the interaction pen with a tucked tail, I was glad to see Brandy sharing smiles and tail wags. I really like this sweet girl. Once she’s comfortable with you, she shows how friendly and affectionate she can be.
