Hi Friends, my name is Erica. I am a lab/shepherd mix and have lived almost my entire 8 years of life at CARA. I don't know why people just pass me by. I hear them say its just a black dog but I have no idea what that means. I long for someone to love me. Play fetch and take me on walks. I know there is a special person who needs me just as much as I need them. Please come to the shelter and meet me.

If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit our website at for information on our Adoption Process and to fill out our online adoption application.

Breed identification by visual means is unreliable for most dogs. We are only guessing at predominat breed or breed mix. Each dog at CARA is an individual and we do our best to describe each animal based on personality, not be breed label.

Erica is Spayed and current on vaccinations.
