Lady and her husband Grizzly were living in a kennel 24/7 for at least five years! They were never let out for exercise or human contact. The property they lived on was used for shooting commercials and the owner lives in LA. Someone came to feed them once a day, but the poop was rarely picked up and when a friend of Paw Parent worked there on a commercial and saw the conditions with poop piling up and metal bowls chewed up out of boredom, she knew she had to do something to free them. She contacted Paw Parent and it was arranged for Lady and Grizzly to come and live here at Paw Parent.
Lady is very much on the shy and timid side and is not happy when walked on a leash but has greatly improved. She is very bonded to Grizzly and needs him close by at all times. It would be fantastic if they could find a home together. She likes being petted once she knows you and enjoys being brushed.
Lady is around 7 years old, spayed, updated on all her shots and has a microchip. She weighs about 55 pounds but could use a few extra ones.
