Babs is a shy Girl. She came to us labeled as a feral, but as we spend time with her we have found that she is just shy. She may have been put out of her home and lost her way. Regardless, she will need time to adjust to new surroundings. She is spayed, has tested negative for FELV and FIV and is up to date on all her vaccines. For more information about adopting her contact Tina @ 865-556-2880 or adoptions@blountcountyhumanesociety.org.

About Blount County Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

The Blount County Humane Society is a No-Kill organization whose goal is to build a No-Kill shelter in Blount County TN.

Our Adoption Process...

We require that our adoption contract be filled out and signed, then you will be contacted by the adoption manager or other Humane Society Volunteer. We will check your personal and veterinarian references, and then visit your home to determine if the accommodations are appropriate and in the best interest of the pet you want to adopt. All of the pets we adopt out are up to date on their shots, and are spayed or neutered. Dogs are heartworm negative and on preventative medicine. Cats are feline leukemia and aids negative. We strive to adopt out healthy and well balanced animals, but from time to time if health problems exist, medications are needed, or there are behavioral issues, this will be fully disclosed prior to adopion.
