Marty is a male Havanese/Tibetan Terrier mix approximately 1 year in age. He is a nice sturdy, manageable size weighing in at 15 pounds full grown. Marty has a lovely soft caramel and ivory coat that is non-shedding. He has been professionally groomed and currently has a short summer cut. His fur will grow out long if allowed. Marty's ears are a little bit darker in color with touches of charcoal gray. He is a handsome boy, full of life and super affectionate with people. He is very loyal and devoted to those he knows and will stick to you like glue. He is warm and delightful in his loving ways. Marty is also super playful with other dogs. He can race around and be silly with the best of them! To see him play will bring a smile to the faces of even the most serious of folks. He's a total riot. Marty loves all other dogs big and small and will do his very best to get a game of chase or tussle going. Other dogs like him as well and he makes friends easily. Marty is housebroken and has already been taught to sit. He is a smart dog and learns commands with ease making him highly trainable. He adores being near his people and will thrive in a home that includes him in daily activities. Marty was brought in to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter in a sad state of neglect. This sweet boy for sure deserves better. We can't imagine how he ended up there, but with some love and care, Marty has blossomed into a fabulous dog. He is going to make a wonderful pet and companion for some lucky family! If there is another playful young dog in the household, Marty will be thrilled. He is ready for his new forever home today!

Marty’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Marty is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Ivan & Yesim and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MARTY, a Newport Beach Havanese/Tibetan Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Tibetan Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese/Tibetan Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Tibetan Terrier breeders who help with Havanese/Tibetan Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
