Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kohl at this point appears to be a bit on the laid back side. So far he does not have that tendency to nip a lot that most puppies have. Of course that could change as he starts teething. That is why we do not recommend puppies with children younger than five. Puppies take a lot of time and patience to train. He has been in a foster home with other dogs and does well. He is now in a foster home that has cats also so we will find out how he does with them. Kohl is already learning how to walk on a leash and does “potty” when taken out for a walk. He does appear to try to keep his crate clean which is great for such a young pup.
He has not been neutered yet and therefore according to VA state law a pup cannot be adopted out of state. His adoption fee is $200, which includes vaccines, deworming, microchip and neutering. You will be asked to sign a contract stating that you will have him neutered by 5 or 6 months and give a $50 deposit, which will be returned to you when we have proof of him being neutered. For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.
