Here's what the humans have to say about me:
For six weeks now...we've had a very special secret, and are so excited to finally announce "The Junkyard Dogs!"
Please say hello to our little family of 8 six week old German Shepherd puppies who were surrendered to Ruff Start Happy Tails when they were just a few hours old! Nova, their mama, gave birth to these beautiful babies at a body shop / junkyard on Memorial Day. Their owner reached out to RSHT for help and, luckily, we had a wonderful foster step-up and we were able to take the family into rescue. Nova had 5 boys and 3 girls: Chevelle, Cherokee, Jetta, Hemi, Bronco, Fender, Mercedes and Vega! These pups are absolutely stunning - just like mom and dad! They are full of life, love to play, and are quite brave and mischievous little fuzzballs! Ideally, we are looking for these pups to go to homes that not only understand and appreciate the breed, but will keep their new family member active and well socialized and trained. The puppies are now 6 weeks old (3 weeks in the current pictures) and we are ready to find them their perfect forever homes! Currently, we are accepting general puppy applications -- and can not promise a specific puppy to adopters. If you are interested in adopting one of the babies (will be ready to go home on 7-20-15) please fill out an application on our website www.ruffstarthappytails.org. The puppies will be up to date on age appropriate shots and dewormed, and will need to be spayed/neutered right at 6 months of age.
