This sweet girl finds herself in need of a home due to a change in family circumstances. Dolce is six years young, and full of love and life to give.
Dolce is great with kids, and enjoys the company of other dogs as well. But she also wouldn't mind being the recipient of all the attention! She is up to date on vaccines.
Dolce is crate trained and housebroken. She knows her basic commands. She is very food motivated and is eager to please. She is always ready for an adventure, but is happy to cuddle at home as well.
***Update***
Dolce was placed in a loving potential adoptive home which we had hoped would be her forever home. Within a very short period of time, Dolce had several seizures.
Our veterinarian confirmed that this is common to the breed mix and is brought on by stress. He prescribed phenobarbital to treat these. Dolce returned to her former home and has not had a seizure since. We have observed her after a month on the medicine.
Dolce's family is still looking to find her the home she can land in with the situation that is ideal for her. The medication she is taking is quite inexpensive, and her medical outlook is a positive one. She has no restrictions other than daily medication. Dolce is a vibrant and engaging dog who would love a home who understands the simplicity of her special needs.
