Dickson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Dickson's Story...
Dickson doesn't look nor act his age, so don't let it fool you! This little man is 11yrs young and still full of love and spunk! He found himself without a home when his elderly owner went in to assisted living and could no longer care for him. Although this is a big change for Dickson, he has really handled it well and has been so sweet through all of it. He loves to go for walks and is good on the leash. Dickson is supposedly housetrained, lived with a cat and is fine with them, but we do not know about other dogs. If you have other dogs just bring them in for a meet and greet! This sweet boy should not be spending his golden years in a shelter, and we know he would be forever grateful for a forever home to love him for the rest of his time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dickson, a Broadway Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
