My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raina has just arrived into rescue! This gorgeous 18-month-old GSD is a striking 80 lb girl. She is a large female and a great weight.

Raina is in a foster home with another Shepherd, a small dog and a cat.

Raina was surrendered by her owner after going through a painful divorce. Raina and Uta were raised in the same home. They are well socialized with people, children and other dogs and will do well at the dog park. However, both dogs were raised in a home with two adults and, so, their future home will be with a single adult or couple. We are splitting the girls up as they are siblings and also females.

Raina will do well with someone who loves to go for walks and to the park. She thrives with 1-on-1 attention.

As far as house manners, they are both excellent even though they are both so young. Her previous owners left her loose while at work.

Raina loves to chase balls. She loves to get them and then give them up to be thrown again. Raina kind of likes a rope with knots to play tug-of-war. But nothing beats the tennis balls!

Raina is very obedient and loves to follow voice and hand commands. She thrives with leadership and definitely wants to please.

Raina likes to have her ears and cheeks scratched. And like your typical Shepherd, she likes to sit at your feet and be with you by your side.
