Sparky's Story...
Adopt me! :) Hi there, my name is Sparky and I'm a rambunctious young doggy that likes to play and have fun! I'm great with other dogs, haven't been around many cats, but I'm willing to try it out. I'm about 1 to 1 and a half years old and only about 15 lbs, so I'm just a little guy, but I have a big heart and I can't wait to share it with my new family - I hope it's yours!

Although I am currently in Meridan, Mississippi, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Groton Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi for sale in Groton, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
