Dallas's Story...
Hi! Want to play fetch?! I love playing fetch, it's my favorite game! :D Oh, well, let me introduce myself before we play - I'm Dallas and I'm a small (only 12 lbs!), but very fun and energetic 9 month old Chihuahua/Pug mix. I love dogs and cats (okay, I'm a little bossy at first, but I promise I'll be friendly otherwise!) and kids are great too! I need to be helped out with my house training a little bit, I've almost got it down and I'm really smart, so if you just help me a little then I'll get it right quick - I promise! Did I mention I love to play fetch?! Oh, I did, well, I hope you want to adopt and play because I would really like that - can't wait to meet my forever family! - Dallas (7/8/15)

P.S. I'm in Meridan, MS right now, but can be sent up to New England to be with you!
P.P.S. (I know, lots to say!) Here's the link to my adoption application: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/

Okay, that's all, bye for now! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas, a Groton Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Groton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
