Howdy folks! My name is Hoss and I’m a healthy 4 year old boy weighing in at 101 lbs. I came to AGB from a rescue in Tennessee. They found me on a rural road dragging a heavy chain and took me to the local shelter to see if anyone would come to claim me. No one came, so the rescue got me back. Luckily for me one of AGB’s volunteers made contact with the folks in Tennessee and arranged to get me. My foster Mom let me sleep with her and she says I am a sweetheart and I get along well with other dogs and cats and I played well with the neighborhood kids who were all teenagers. I love to be petted and loved on and I ride well in the car. I don’t like thunder, crates or brooms, rakes or long sticks. People were not kind to me in the past and that’s why I have these fears, but I still love people and with the right loving owner to take care of me, I think I can forget my troubled past.
