Grace's Info...

Grace's Story...
Grace came to CARA badly injured. Someone had thrown her in the trash with a collar deeply embedded in her neck and left for dead. After healing, she went to the VA Hospital frequently to see a Vet who lived there. After the gentleman passed away she pretty has stayed at CARA. She is very smart and with training would make an excellent therapy dog.

If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit our Website for information on our Adoption Process and to fill out our online adoption application at CARA's Adoption Process and Online Application.

Breed identification by visual means is unreliable for most dogs. We are only guessing a predominant breed or breed mix. Each dog at CARA is an individual and we do our best to describe each animal based on personality, not by breed label.

She is spayed and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace, a Jackson Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
