Reggie's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Reggie's Story...
Reggie is a handsome English Sheep dog and Chow mix fellow, neutered up to date with shots and looking for just the right family. Reggie was surrendered because he tends to 'guard' his person. Which means Reggie will bond with one person and pretty much does not want anyone else to be around. He is a loving dog and gets along famously with other dogs but will need to go to a home with a single owner or someone well versed in this behavior. Reggie walks like a champ on lead, allows full body handling and has behaved very well with the volunteers here. He is medium energy, enjoys playtime and accepts treats graciously. Reggie is a handsome fellow, and seems to know it, sporting a short summer cut. Please contact the rescue for more information or come in between the hours of 11:00 and 4:00 any day of the week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reggie, a Meridian Chow Chow/Old English Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Old English Sheepdog for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Chow Chow/Old English Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Old English Sheepdog breeders who help with Chow Chow/Old English Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
