Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie! He is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, about 4 yrs old and weighs 15-20 lbs. He is housebroken, fully vaccinated and has been microchipped. He is full of energy and loves to run and play, and also get in your lap for attention. He was found by his rescue mom after being on the streets for who knows how long. He gets along great with other dogs, both male & female, and some cats.
He is best with adults or older kids. He is neutered and housebroken and would love to find a home of his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Bellflower Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
