Aren’t I a handsome fella? I gained a whole 30 pounds since I was found! I am learning to trust humans again, so please don’t take my shyness as being disinterested or rude. Once I smell you and get to know you, I’ll be your favorite lap dog! I am neutered, current on vaccinations and house trained!
The post below was written by my Angel because I have opened up to her and knows me best!
“ How can you resist this sweet face?? Meet Lucky. He is truly a lucky guy that has had his 2nd chance at life. He is estimated to be about a year old, awesome with kids, AWESOME with other dogs, house broken and crate trained. The issue that seems to push people away is his shyness. Lucky tends to want to hide when strangers come around and when he is in public. However in his comfort zone he is Mr. Happy Go Lucky that is learning how to be a puppy. He is learning how to nip playfully at the other dog’s ears. Also being in a house with boxers he has picked up on the "boxer prance" and the "kidney bean twist" pretty well. His coordination with running on hard wood floors has not quite developed yet. Haha he tends to have many run ins with the wall when he is excited (the wall wins). Please take this sweet guy in for consideration. He needs a forever family that can look past his shy side. He will warm up over time. Lucky preferably needs a home with other dogs. Having other dogs has truly taught him how to be a dog. He has come so far given that almost 3 months ago he was found literally on deaths bed only able to hold up his head. Please don't look past this sweet dog. Please turn him from being the dog nobody wants to being the dog that a very special family adopts. We love this guy so much and it truly breaks our heart to not adopt him. We have grown attached but we know in order to save another dog’s life that he will have to find his forever home. Lucky is heart worm positive but will start his treatment real soon. If interested please go to sinbadsadierescue.org and fill out an application form. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST EVERYONE. Together we can all make a difference.”
