Meet Heidi! Heidi is frisky little pup and loves to play with her foster brother and sister. She is a spunky, smart, cuddly little girl. She prefers to have her foster mom or dad in sight and she looks for them if she can’t see them. She loves to play fetch and is already learning to bring it back and drop her ball on command! Heidi has been well socialized with many other humans, children and dogs.

The Basics

Heidi has had his first set of puppy shots and has been dewormed. She is working hard on becoming completely housebroken and doing great! Based on scientific research, NWGSR does not recommend spaying before 6 months of age.

Adoption fee: $400, plus $125 deposit refundable to adopter upon proof that Heidi has been spayed after 6 months of age

Due to the nature of this breed, for safety reasons NWGSR does not adopt to homes with children under 8 years of age, or with dogs weighing less than 20 pounds. We also require a fully-fenced yard, with fencing a minimum of 5' tall. More information on these policies is available on our website. The rescue requires previous German Shepherd ownership experience for any of our dogs under the age of 2.
