My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romeo is a beautiful Bichon/Maltese boy that is 5-6 yrs old and weighs approx 12 lbs (but needs to gain a few pounds). He is a friendly guy but from 2 years of neglect, he needs to learn that people are ok again. He is learning to play and run again and enjoys doing both. When Romeo came to us, he had a badly shattered tooth with the nerves exposed and our vet said he would have been in excruciating pain and it had been like that for a while. THe tooth was pulled right away but Romeo was afraid to eat due to the previous pain but soon figured out that his food tasted good and didn't hurt anymore. Romeo is also a barker and his foster home thinks that he may have had a shock collar on at some time as he gets very afraid when trying to put a collar on him. He is also VERY needy and clingy which makes us think he must have been loved at sometime and now just craves that again. He is good with other dogs but likes to be the boss. Romeo will be an exceptional companion with a little understanding, training, and time.

**applicants must be in a 2 hr driving range from Toronto/Niagara area as we do home visits ourselves with our dogs.
