My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ATTENTION BASSET LOVERS!!! Please meet our Sissy, a pure basset from the end of her velvet ears to the white tip of her tail. Miss Sissy is a love me or leave me type of gal!  Sissy is an absolute love bug with her people and does adjust to other dogs after a proper introduction, but make no doubt that she will be the head canine in charge!  So if you LOVE the stubbornness, the attitude and the quirkiness of a true diva, than Sissy may very well be the perfect dog for you! Sissy is approximately 6 years of age, loves to be in the "mix" of things and is content to be close to you, snoozing on her bed or finding a sunny spot to relax.  Sissy walks well on a leash, albeit at her own pace and rides well in the car. Sissy is spayed, up-to-date on all of her shots and microchipped.  She is currently putting on a bit of much needed weight, but has a healthy appetite and is more than happy to serve as a wonderful vacuum under the dinner table.
