Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm a classic tabby with handsome swirls and big eyes that will make you swoon. I'm a fairly happy little guy but I admit: I'm timid. Yes...I'm one of "those." When you have company, I'll go under the bed. But for you, I'll hang around and even nap on top of you. I don't bond quickly, but when I do, it's sweet!
Also, I have a bit of a story to tell. When I was tiny, a really mean cat bit me and gave me FIV. I carry the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Before you turn away from me, know this: FIV is not a disease. It doesn't make me sick. For me to spread it to another cat, I have to bite them as in a deep bite wound. I don't have cooties.
I live with other kitties who don't have the FIV, and because I'm not a mean biter kitty, they won't get the virus from me. In fact, we play and have fun together and enjoy being around one another and our foster parents.
I deserve to be adopted just like all my kitty pals who get to go home with their new families, leaving me behind. I'd like my own family too! I think I'd do well in a home that wasn't very busy. Yeah, I'd like a family with an easy-going manner, one that will let me learn to love them and show how much I love them when I finally feel safe and ready.
I wish I wasn't so timid and I wish I didn't have FIV, and I wish I had the perfect family to let me into their hearts. That's the best wish ever!
