Brody's Story...
Hi, I am Brody, a 4 month old mixed breed puppy. My foster mom thinks maybe I am a mix of Pointer and Boxer, but all I know is that I am super cute. She says I am a very good boy. I am housebroken and crate trained and am learning to ring a bell to let my foster mommy know when I need to go outside. And am going to puppy socialization classes so I can learn to be the best puppy ever. My best friend at my foster home is a German Shepherd. There are two other dogs there too, but they don’t play with me so I just ignore them. There are a few cats too that I am curious about, but really don’t bother them. I love playing with rope toys and my new favorite toy is a jolly ball. I loooove to be outside so my foster mom prefers that my new home have a fenced yard.

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Brody, please complete our adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody, a Toledo Pointer/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Boxer for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Pointer/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Boxer breeders who help with Pointer/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
