My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster is a great little guy he is friendly and like all little dogs loves to get under the covers. Our boy was removed from a hoarder situation with other Chihuahuas. All the smaller ones were rescued but because Buster was the largest (20#) he was left behind. He had such a wonderful personality the shelter staff reached out to us for help. Buster is now part of our rescue. Buster is 2 years old, neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, house trained and on heartworm preventive. He is dog social, but we do not know how he is with cats. He would love a fenced yard where he can safely run and play. Buster is looking for a family who will give him a second chance and show him what is like to be part of a loving family.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. Adoption applications are only available at our adoption events. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. Come meet our adoptable dogs at our adoption events every Sunday at the Troy Petco from 12-4:30pm. Our adoption fee is $275.
