Woof, woof! My name is S’Mores and I am a purebred, bluetick male beagle puppy that needs to find my forever home! My two beagle brothers and I were saved from a terrible living situation in South Carolina and were lucky to be rescued by Penny Angels! We lived in a wonderful foster home in SC for almost 6 weeks before making our journey to NJ on July 4, and now we are ready to start searching for our new families!
I am about 12 weeks old and weigh approx. 10 lbs. My foster mom said that I started out as the largest puppy and I’m STILL bigger than my brothers! I was a rough & rumble boy in the beginning, but now I am more introverted and can act a little shy. I usually like to let my brothers check out new situations first before I join in the fun. I am a little unsure about being on my back & getting belly rubs, but I am getting the hang of it. In my foster home, I was starting to learn a few commands such as, "leave it", "no bite", "give kisses", and "paw". I respond well to "puppy come" and "sit". I like to play with toys and can easily entertain myself, but I also enjoy my play time with my other beagle buddies.
