Ragen,smart shar pei babe's Story...
Ragen, Ripley and Reno are the most adorable baby shar-pei/lab puppies EVER. They are 13 weeks old and ready for their amazing new lives! These little guys are lively, healthy, animated and super playful. Each looks very different from the others in color; but all have wrinkles and are sturdy and fun. Sister Ragen is the biggest- weighing 20lbs, sis Reno next largest at 18lbs and brother Ripley is still good sized at 17lbs. Happy, social, great with other dogs, cats and farm animals; these guys are as good as they are cute and sweet! They warm up quickly to everyone and LOVE attention. They are affectionate, super friendly and confident and will make great family dogs. All are stocky and light shedders. They likely will be 50-60lbs at full grown. These little guys will be ready to be loyal and loveable family members and will make great exercise partners. They are ready for puppy classes and a family of their own and will be looking forward to regular exercise and playtime when they are older and completed their vaccinations. They will bond strongly with you and be your constant companions! The “R” pups have had two sets of puppy shots, are micro-chipped and just total bundles of love. Rescued from high kill Gordon County shelter in Calhoun, Georgia where they were dumped; these puppies are so appreciative and loving. When foster mom Tracy took them home at barely a few weeks old they were underweight and with sarcopic mange, a skin condition. Thus they have been in foster care longer than some getting healthy and treated for their mange. Receiving a clean bill of health this week- you can still see some hair loss but they have bounced back amazingly quickly in a loving and nurturing environment. Their videos were taken several weeks ago at my house, “babysitting” for the long weekend but now most of their hair has grown in! They have been in foster care with kids, lots of other dogs and tons of socialization- they are ready for great new lives out of the crappy south where they were destined to die for sure. Ragen, Ripley and Reno are crate trained and pee pad trained, ride well in the car and love, love, love being with people. The Shar pei labs will be headed out on transport July 23rd with arrival into Woodinville, WA on July 25th. They will be ready and happily waiting for you at the end of their long journey. For an adoption application for these three go to www.raincityrescue.com and choose the adopt tab. Email Pam with questions at raincityrescue@gmail.com. Their adoption fee is $600 and they’ll be there in no time and ready for puppy play, puppy love and a new puppy life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ragen, smart shar pei babe, a Snohomish Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever for sale in Snohomish, or seeking a Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Snohomish.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snohomish already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snohomish breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snohomish paves the way for another one to be saved.
