If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Pre-Qualification Form.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Magnolia Mae is a 11 year old chow mix that was abandoned at the local shelter in bad need of some TLC.  She caught the eye and heart of one of our ARPO volunteers who decided to take her home and give her a nice bath, trim her up and fatten her up.  During the vet examination it was discovered that Magnolia Mae has heartworms.  Unfortunately, the vet thinks she is too old to safely undergo heartworm treatment so that is something that she will have to live with for the rest of her life.  Magnolia Mae is still very playful, affectionate and seems to have a lot of life left in her.  She is slow to warm up to new people but once she does warm up she loves with all of her heart.

She is good with cats and other dogs.

Magnolia Mae's adoption fee is $75 and includes spay, vaccinations, veterinary well visit and microchip.

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please complete the online Pre-Qualification Form.
