My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sassy! This girl may be a little tubby, but she can still jump in your lap and be the ultimate lap dog. Sassy was originally adopted from the shelter in 2012 and was recently brought back, super-sized, because her owner could not care for her anymore. Sassy didn't let this get her down, though. Now that she is in a foster home, she is happier than ever! Sassy loves people almost as much as she loves eating. She is also house- and kennel-trained and is willing to learn much, much more for a low calorie treat! Sassy's personality is as big as her stomach and she can easily light up a room with her happy little smile!

At around 4 year old, Sassy weighs in at just over 12 pounds and can DEFINITELY lose a few. She is currently on a reduced calorie diet in her foster home and is increasing her exercise tolerance every day (watch her athletic slow-mo video!). Sassy would be ideal for a laid back household looking for someone to hold down the couch. Just promise no more trips to the drive-in! Her self-control isn't that strong yet!

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
