Ginger here! My owner brought me to the CSAC because she felt it was time for me to find my own home. She was a great lady who loved lots of dogs. I had 12 brothers and sisters! THAT was too much for ME! I need my own place and my own space. I really don’t like pesky little dogs. Big dogs and cats don’t bother me. I love being around people and hanging in my own space. Give me a window and I will watch the world go by. I have never been around little kids but if they are as annoying as little dogs, forget it! Can you give me a home to roam?

The medical and custodial expenses of the numerous Cocker Spaniels in our care are tremendous. With the current economy, more and more dogs with urgent and serious medical issues are being abandoned. While we are committed to providing the best possible care for these luckless, voiceless dogs, the increased costs are beginning to take their toll on our ability to do so. What this means is that we are able to rescue fewer dogs, and in turn, that means more dogs may be euthanized every day. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our dogs, please consider making a donation. We know that money is tight everywhere, but even just a few dollars from many people adds up. Think of those dogs still in shelters or on the streets – those without warm beds, full bellies, and the knowledge that they are safe. For just the cost of a few cups of coffee, you can make a tremendous difference in the life of one of our needy pups. For other ways to donate, please scroll to the bottom of our main web page. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. About Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center Inc., unlike many other rescue organizations, opens our hearts and our homes to Cocker Spaniels (and "honorary" Cocker Spaniels) regardless of age or medical conditions. When you see the love shining back from a senior dog who has been rescued, or received little kisses from a dog so ill he/she can hardly raise their head, then you will know as we do, all dogs deserve to be rescued, healed, and loved. This has proven true for us over the many years we have been rescuing abused, neglected, and "thrown away" Cocker Spaniels. Because of our beliefs, our work is never done but our hearts are always full. We are an all-volunteer organization, so all donations and Adoption Fees go directly to helping keep these rescued Cocker Spaniels' tails wagging.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have adoption shows in both PA and MD. Check out our Calendar of Events on our web site, www.cockeradoptions.org.
You can also see our events on our Facebook page: Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center.

Our Adoption Process...

An Adoption Application is required on each dog. The application is available on our web site at www.cockeradoptions.org. A home visit and Vet check are performed for each potential adopter. Upon successful completion, the adopter is required to complete an Adoption Agreement and pay a non-refundable adoption fee of $300 (dogs 7 and under) or $250 (dogs 8 and older). All our dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their shots, and have been completely vetted. Our Adoption Coordinator will reply to applications or inquiries in a timely manner.
