My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hannah is a 4 yr old Female retriever mix.

Hannah has tested positive for Heartworm and will be undergoing treatment when she arrives. She'll need to be on a no activity regimen for the next 60 days while she recovers from this treatment and on a low activity regimen for 6 months.

Both her treatment and blood test after 6 months are paid for by GRFR at one of our contracted vets. She will need to be kept quiet for 30 days post treatment. Hannah's forever family will need to be sure he takes a monthly heartworm preventative year round. Some people might be leery of a dog like Hannah who has had heartworm, but there is no need to be. It is both curable and preventable.
