Chops's Story...

At first glance, Chops' unique appearance catches your attention. His tricolor markings and lowrider stature make him adorable. If you see beyond his charming looks, you will appreciate the real Chops. This sweet boy is a calm little curious soul with big brown expressive eyes. He is cautious, observant, and a little slow to trust, but you would be also if your former family dumped you at the pound. Chops' adopter will need introduce the world of play to this darling boy because he appears to be unfamiliar with toys and how to frolic with other dogs. He will also benefit from obedience training since he just understands “sit” for now. Chops will make a wonderful companion in many different home environments, including a family with children, first time adopter, or more mature guardians. A loving family will transform Chops into the happy dog he’s meant to be!

If you are interested in meeting Chops, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Chops is 4 years old and weighs 29 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chops, a Marina del Rey Corgi/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Pug for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Corgi/Pug dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Pug breeders who help with Corgi/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
