My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This lovely young lady's name is Honeybear. Her old name is Canela. Her past consists of living outside 24/7 then being abandoned by her owner at a kill shelter, where she was going to be euthanize for fear
. We're moving forward and not looking back. No more Canela. Honeybear it is.
Honeybear is a 10 month old terrier/maybe yorkie mix. She weights only 7lbs and is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She is housebroken even after living outside, but she is a pretty smart girl. She is also crate trained. Honeybear does suffer from some fear issues, especially in new surroundings. Her foster mom believes she has probably been abused in the past. She is very sensitive to loud noises such as yelling or fireworks. It would be best if Honeybear was in an adult only home. She is also more fearful of men then women. After a week in her foster home she relaxed and became a wonderful little sweetheart. She requires an adopter that is understanding and patient. She's worth it! She showers her foster mom with little gentle kisses and now sleeps in her arms. As you can tell in her photos, she's very dressable and photogenic. Honeybear loves other dogs. Even grumpy ones. She has not been cat tested, but may be alright with them. Honeybear will require regular grooming. With her being afraid a good experienced groomer will be a must. There is an adoption fee of $300 for Honeybear which includes her spay, shots, chip and the tremendous amount of socialization she has received to get her ready for her forever family. For more information please contact her foster mom, Dee at 702-287-6973
