Ursula's Story...
Ursula is a sweet, sassy girl who knows exactly what she wants! What she wants is a home to love her and respect her. Ursula is incredibly affectionate, she loves rubbing up against your legs and head butting you for affection. What Ursula DOESN'T want is for the base of her tail or her tail itself to be pet. No full body strokes for this girl, she ONLY wants to be pet on her cheeks and face. Ursula also adamantly hates all other animals and will need to be the only critter in the house. Ursula will need an adult only home and to live with people who are very experienced in feline body language so they know when she's had enough. Ursula is incredibly playful and would love lots of play time every day, she especially loves feather wands! She would also love a tall cat tree where she can stretch, climb and nap on while observing her kingdom from high up. This will also provide her with an appropriate place to stretch and scratch! If you think Ursula is the right kind of sassy sweet for you, please bring an adoption application to the front desk so you can meet her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ursula, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
