Looking for an active, intelligent, and easy to care for pet? Look no further! Budgies are actually a small breed of parrot originating from Australia and are popular pets worldwide. As a flock bird they are very social; if you don't have the inclination or time to play with your new pet daily we highly recommend adopting more than one so that they can provide each other with social interaction to stay healthy and happy. These guys will need a large cage, perches, high quality seed, a cuttle bone or mineral block, lots of toys, and a small amount of fresh fruit or vegetables daily. These budgies can learn to be finger tame, whistle on command, or even talk if you are willing to put in the time and effort! If you would like to learn more about these singing and chirping beauties come to the front desk and fill out an application.
