Adoption fee of $295 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.

We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiffany, a Mount Pleasant Cocker Spaniel/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Beagle for sale in Mount Pleasant, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Mount Pleasant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Pleasant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Pleasant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Beagle breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Pleasant paves the way for another one to be saved.
