TinkerBell's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

TinkerBell's Story...
This little 8 lb bundle of cute stuff is Tinkerbell. She was turned into a high kill shelter and even though she was super cute and friendly, no one came for her. They were about to put her on "the list" and the volunteer called us. I am so glad I gave this sweet girl a chance. She is always happy, wiggly and ready to run and play. If you are looking for a prissy little chichi, this is NOT your girl. If you are looking for a fun loving "character" than you want Tinkerbell!! She is about a year or year and a half old but acts like a puppy! She has been spayed and is up to date on all shots and preventions and so ready for a loving forever home of her own. If you would like to make Tinkerbell your new family member, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TinkerBell, a Harrisonburg Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
