Meet Keanu! This is a wonderful, very friendly and easy going dog. Keanu is about 1-1.5 year old and weighs 24 pounds and is fully grown. He is a great size dog, is low to the ground, and has a long body. We rescued him from the over-crowded South LA Shelter. He now lives in a foster home with several dogs and is doing great. He is a little shy at first but comes around super quickly and is a love bug. He is quiet and patient, really easy to have around, likes to lay down by your feet to relax but is also up for adventures! Keanu is crate-trained and is learning to walk nicely on the leash. He is already neutered, up-to-date with shots, micro-chipped and house-trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keanu, a Los Angeles Corgi/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Border Collie for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Corgi/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Border Collie breeders who help with Corgi/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
