FOSTERED IN CALIFORNIA
FRISKO is a MIX. He looks like a small 32 pound Catahoula. Even his tail is carried like one, and he is so handsome, but that doesn't mean he is a Catahoula.. we don't know for sure. There is conjecture as to what he is but we don't care what he is, breed isn't important when we aren't sure.. but heart and temperament IS. If you want an exceptional dog that looks like a Catahoula in color and face and tail and eyes and ears, then here you go. He is ONE NICE DOG. He was given a lot of freedom as a pup, no boundaries and he ended up chasing chickens and got some. So he was put in a kill shelter and was an 11th hour rescue. Owner surrenders in overfull kill shelters are the first to go. The shelter liked him as he was friendly and sweet. He gets along with dogs, and cats unless they run and make a game of it, loves kids and people. He has had some manners put into him. About a year and a half is his age and he is so sweet and deserving of a forever commitment. He rides well in a car but don't stick him outside as a yard dog, he learns how to get out if he wants out. He is smart like a Catahoula and wants to be with a family. He can escape. Supervised in yard is perfect. This dog is really nice. Small enough for small homes and travel but he has a big big heart.
