Otto's Story...
Beagles are a very friendly breed. Otto is no exception. This male Beagle Mix is 2 years old and weighs 22 pounds. Otto was on the euthanasia list at a neighboring shelter and sent a please out to save this friendly guy. We couldn't let a fine young dog lose his life. We are happy to give Otto the chance for a new beginning. Otto is behaving well in his Foster Home and does well with everyone he meets. Otto does well in a crate and walks well on a leash. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. Otto deserves a happily ever after with a committed family who will provide for and love him forever. He is waiting to review all applications submitted to ITVRescue.org. If you've always wanted to adopt, and Otto sounds like a perfect match, don't wait long. This cutie is very popular.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otto, a Evansville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
