Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Doogie is an adorable mix with the body of a lab and the legs of a basset hound! He is around seven years old and a happy go lucky boy. He will be the perfect addition to someone's family. He weighs about 50 pounds. Doogie is neutered, micro chipped and current on vaccinations. He was rescued from the shelter and is now in a foster home while he awaits his forever home.
Message from Doogie: Hello everyone! My name is Doogie and I am a bassador. Bassador? You may say. What is that? Well, let me tell you. Most of me is a basset but somehow I ended up with a Labrador head....except for my basset ears. Apparently I am pretty special because everywhere I go people tell me what a handsome boy I am even if I do look a little funny.
I was pretty sad the first couple days in my foster home. Then something so exciting happened!!! Two bassets came to live with me! Oh joy! What fun! Those little chihuahuas never wanted to play with me but now I have my own friends. I showed them, didn't I?
I would really love to go to a forever home. I promise to be a good boy. I use the doggy door everytime and don't bark like those silly chihuahuas. I am neutered, current on vaccinations and and micro chipped. Can you find it in your heart to give me a forever home? Please?
