DOGS Are in Foster Homes. There is no shelter. email@example.com
Daisy is Farah sister, she is more vocal and outgoing but still shy and needs to warm up. She is good with kids, dogs, cats, crate trained, & low maintenance. Neither Farah nor Daisy like to be picked up or held, but will sit with you on the couch or lay in bed. She is crate trained, housebroken, she let's me know by going to back door. She eats everything so have to pick toys carefully. She gets along with all the dogs.
**Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We also WILL NOT adopt to anyone who keeps their dogs outside. **We also WILL NOT adopt to homes with unaltered dogs or cats. **We do not transport. **See our website for more information. www.HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com 2. Meet with the dog(s) 3. Verification of Home 4. Adoption Contract 5. Bring treats.
The adoption fee/donation ranges from $100 (special needs & senior dogs) to $350 for adults based on their needs and $400-450 for puppies 1 year and under.
The adoption fee helps cover expenses for all dogs while in the rescue program including the vet exams, vaccines, heartworm testing, stool check, spay/neuter, monthly Heartworm & Flea preventative plus other necessary veterinary care and training to get the dog ready for adoption.
This is the first time in many years we have raised the adoption fee but vets, medications and dog food has gone up and now so must our adoption fees.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to come and meet the dogs. We work BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
