My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous boy is every bit as sweet on the inside as he is beautiful on the outside. We found him at a high kill shelter in TN, so we know nothing of his history. What we do know is that he is going to be LARGE and gently in charge. Casey is 5-6 months old and weighs 55 lbs right now. His feet are huge, so we think he will do plenty more growing before he reaches his mature size. This is our guess right now; we see Great Pyrenees in his size and fur traits and also some Pointer in those spots! Casey is friendly, outgoing and does not meet a stranger. In his foster home, he does great with the other dogs and cats. He is very submissive with others, but is ready to play if they want. A home without small children would be best because he is at that awkward clumsy stage, and with his size could easily bowl them over. Older children that are 10 years and up would be fine. Due to limited foster space in TN where he currently lives, Casey is safely kenneled outside most of the time. We hope to change that with a new home that has all the amenities and comforts of inside living that a dog deserves. A nice trait about Casey is that when he gets out to play, he hardly leaves your side and even comes when he is called…smart boy! Please consider adding Casey to your family, he is a joy.
