Major is between 3-4 years old and was picked up by animal control running loose on the streets. When no one came to claim him he came to us to find his forever home. He is a shy boy when he meets new people and being a normal gsd, takes time to trust. Major is calm for his age but loves to run and play with other dogs or just hang with his family. A quiet home with no children would be best for him as a busy environment can be overwhelming for this sweet gentle dog. Major’s favorite thing to do is run around the yard playing with you. He has no interest in toys or playing fetch but does love to be outside with his people or lying in the house being close. He like walks, car rides and splashing in the water. He is food motivated and is now learning basic commands. He would do best in a home with an alpha leader that will help him gain some confidence. This boy will bond to you and be a loyal trustful friend for life as he will only give his heart to the family who will treasure him in return for his love and devotion. He does not need an active person but one that is looking for a true friend to share things with. He is not good with cats and he can dig when he gets bored so he is not a dog to be left outside by himself for any long period of time as this may be why he lost his home in the first place. Major is a very loving boy that only aims to please his master, do you have room in your heart and home to bring him into your life.
