BUTTONS's Story...
Hello! My name is Buttons and I am a sweet 5 yr. old female beagle from NJ that recently arrived at Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. The reason that I am now in Rescue is because one of my previous owners became ill and thought it was best for me to find another family to love me. It was sad to leave my parents and my home, but I know that I am in good hands with Penny Angels because they will take wonderful care of me until I find another place to live.

I weigh 28 lbs. and have a beautiful chocolate and white colored coat. I am house-trained and get along well with the other beagles in Rescue. I am a cute and loving girl that will fit right in with your family! Do you have room for me in your heart AND your home? I will be at Petsmart on Saturday if you want to meet me. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue.

An adoption application for Buttons can be obtained by visiting our web site at If you have any questions, please contact or, or call Penny Angels Beagle Rescue at 609-965-9476. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BUTTONS, a Ventnor City Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Ventnor City, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Ventnor City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ventnor City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ventnor City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ventnor City paves the way for another one to be saved.
