Thyme's Story...
Thyme is a 9 week old kitten available for adoption. She was born outside to a feral mom but luckily the kittens were fed daily by the couple that was feeding their mom so got used to people. She is very sweet, playful and adorable. She was spayed on 7/8 and have had her initial kitten vaccines so is all ready for a new home. She has been in a foster home for a week and has been held and cuddled many times a day to help her get used to people and being in a home. She loves to climb the cat tree, sleep on the bed and play with all the toys she has been given and has started to leap in her foster mom's lap to get attention. She loves to have her tummy rubbed and purrs and purrs when she you do it. She would love to be a friend to another cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thyme, a Medfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Medfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Medfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
