Coco's Story...
Coco is a very sweet and gentle little girl weighing in at about 30 lbs. She is also a very hard worker raising a litter of her own and becoming a surrogate mother for a second litter. Might I add all by 1 year of age! Coco can have her playful puppy moments, but she really enjoys some couch TV time with her people. She is a master escape artist, but her foster mom has figured out several tricks to keeping her contained to her kennel while her foster mom is out. Coco is still working on her house training but she has improved tremendously in her time with her foster. She can be timid and submissive when first meeting people but warms up quickly and always begs for belly rubs. Coco has very good house obedience and walks well on a leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Manhattan Pointer/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Beagle for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Pointer/Beagle dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Beagle breeders who help with Pointer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
