Star Kiss's Story...
My name is Star Kiss and I am looking for a home. Someone said I smelled like tuna so they named me Star Kiss. I love to play with my toys and I am a little curious. I like to play with my room mate at the shelter too. If you have room in your heart and home for someone as cute as me, call the shelter! I have been neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested. I am at the Randolph County Humane Society located in Sparta, IL. For more info call 618-443-3363. Leave a message if no answer, and I hope too see you soon!
** Remember RCHS is not City, County or Gov. funded, we are solely run on donations and fundraisers and the help of the community and your help is always appreciated

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star Kiss, a Sunset Hills Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sunset Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sunset Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sunset Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sunset Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sunset Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
