Tagalong's Story...
This precious girl was found with her puppy wandering the sad lonely streets of Lubbock. While her puppy (now known as Doofy) appeared fairly healthy, it was obvious that Tagalong had not been shown the same care and kindness. She was skinny and her body has several life scars. Tagalong has clearly been used for breeding; a backyard pup good for one purpose. Tagalong is not that old and she has already been tossed aside.

Tagalong is the most unassuming, unobtrusive, agreeable dog! She just tags along. Tagalong has a calm demeanor, so when she gets excited about something, it is especially cute. Tagalong is crate trained and gets along well with other male dogs. She is grateful for consistent meals and for having her health back. Tagalong LOVES to sit in the pool on a hot summer day. She would do great with a family who will give her the attention she has been deprived of her entire life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tagalong, a Lubbock Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lubbock, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lubbock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lubbock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lubbock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lubbock paves the way for another one to be saved.
