Bear's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bear's Story...
I am one of the friendliest cats you will ever meet. I’m about 5 months old and I have never met a stranger. I am great with other cats and have been around little dogs my whole life. I am sure if I met a big one, I would become best pals in just a matter of time. I have a big fluffy tail and I am solid white...except for a tiny light gray smudge on the very top of my head that makes it look like I was sticking my head somewhere it didn’t belong, but I swear that’s not the case! I’m a good boy! I would love for you to share your pillow with me at bedtime, because that’s my favorite place to sleep. I am currently fostered in Huntsville, AL but I am not picky about where my FORever home will be, as long as I am loved. If you would like to meet me, please complete an application online at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/ All of our kittens are in foster homes, are dewormed, felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spay/neutered, micro-chipped and treated by a vet for any signs of neglect. Our adoption fee is $75 and all applications are reviewed in the order they are received so fill out your app today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Huntsville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
