My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cole is a beautiful golden/retriever mix puppy with the softest coat around. He's a typical puppy, loves to play but relatively low energy. He loves being around his people and as long as he has his family around he is content chewing on his bone or squeaking his favorite toy. He is still in the puppy chew phase and he is learning not to jump up. He is crate training and house training . He would love to go on long walks and cuddle on the couch. Cole is being fostered in a loving home in Minneapolis, Mn. His adoption fee of 450.00 includes his two vaccinations, microchip, deworming and his first month of heart guard and flea and tick topical. For an adoption application on Cole please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
